I feel extremely privileged to be Principal at Horsmonden Primary Academy and to work with such a dedicated, experienced and knowledgeable staff team. Our Mission
At Horsmonden we have developed a friendly, caring and thoughtful atmosphere that has evolved through the use of the words “Happiness, Kindness, Success”.
This motto is integral to our school history and ethos. These words have helped shape our vision for the future as we became an IB World School.

Our curriculum is framed by the Primary Years Programme, from the International Baccalaureate and we strongly believe in the 10 learner profile attributes. They represent the capacities and responsibilities for intellectual, personal, emotional and social growth. Together, staff and children are: inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk takers, balanced and reflective.
