Stepping back in time, Year 2 explored Horsmonden village to see how history has shaped our surroundings. They discovered how local buildings and landscapes have transformed into the sights we recognise today. Thank you to the parent helpers for joining us, your support is greatly appreciated.
Year 1 had a blaze of a time visiting Tunbridge Wells Fire Station last week! From exploring the engines to testing out the high-pressure hose, our mini-firefighters learned so much about staying safe. A huge thank you to the crew for such an unforgettable morning, and to our wonderful parent volunteers for your support!
Children in EYFS enjoyed developing their knife skills when chopping a variety of vegetables to make vegetable soup. It’s a shame they didn’t all enjoy the tasting as much!
We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Concert this morning, highlighting the impressive musical talent here at Horsmonden. Our children demonstrated great confidence and skill on their instruments, and the choir delivered two beautiful festive performances. A huge congratulations to all our performers for such a successful event!
Thank you to Gemma O’Malley for running a wreath making workshop for children in Year 6. All children produced beautiful Christmas wreaths to take home and hang in pride of place on their front doors. Great job Year 6!
