Children in EYFS have started their new Central Idea about exploration. First they explained what exploring meant to them and shared their experiences of exploring new places. Then they learned about Christopher Columbus and used their knowledge in play to explore maps, make binoculars and pretend to be Christopher Columbus. What a fun week back in school you’ve had!
