Remembrance Day at Horsmonden

Four young girls can be seen sharing a microphone to read poems about Armistice Day in the village centre.

At 11am we gathered at the Horsmonden War Memorial to commemorate the British and Commonwealth Servicemen and Women who died in the two world wars and later conflicts.

Minister Phil Staddon and Reverend Tim led a peaceful, respectful service where the children of Horsmonden behaved impeccably.

Thank you to Year 6 for composing and reading such thoughtful poems and laying our wreath.
