Year 5 WWII Evacuees

Year 5 pupil dressed up as a World War II evacuee poses for the camera for a photo, holding up his name tag.

Today Year 5 became WWII evacuees for the day! They dressed up for the occasion, complete with name tags, luggage bags and gas mask boxes. They baked WWII bread, analysed WWII posters, tried their hands at Morse code, studied Henry Moore’s Andersen Shelter artwork and recreated their own artwork using chalk. What a day to remember Year 5!
