Horsmonden Hero
This award is given to children who have shown one or more of our 10 learner profile attributes: balanced, reflective, risk-taker, caring, open-minded, principled, communicator, thinker, knowledgeable or inquirer.
Houses
All children at the school are assigned one of four houses, named after aspirational sporting heroes from the 21st Century:
- Rutherford (Greg). Olympic long jump champion
- Ennis (Jessica) British track and field athlete
- Farah (Mo) British distance runner and sporting hero
- Simmonds (Ellie) Paralympic swimmer
The houses compete for the Sports Day Trophies in the summer.
